Restoration work requires restraint as much as skill. The goal is not to erase the history of a rifle, but to return it to proper condition while preserving its character, integrity, and original lines.
Stock Work
Fit, balance, and the character of wood.
Stock work begins with understanding the rifle in the hands. Repairs, shaping, refinishing, and fitting are approached with attention to balance, comfort, structure, and the natural character of the wood.
Metal & Action Work
Mechanical correction and careful fitting.
Metal and action work requires patience, measurement, and clean execution. From fitting and tuning to small mechanical corrections, the goal is to make the rifle function properly without unnecessary intervention.
Sight Work
Measured correction for practical accuracy.
Sight work is not guesswork. Proper correction begins with careful measurement, geometry, and an understanding of how each adjustment affects the rifle in use.
A finished rifle is only the last page of the work. The real story is in the measuring, fitting, correcting, and knowing when to stop.
